PREPARING FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT

Thank You for Choosing Chattanooga Vent Pros!

We appreciate the opportunity to serve you. To help make your appointment smooth and hassle-free, here are a few helpful tips and guidelines to keep in mind before your technician arrives. Let’s get started!

1. Clear the Way

Please ensure there’s a clear, obstacle-free path from the entry point to your laundry area. Our technician will be carrying equipment and may need to move the washer or dryer. For safety, remove any rugs, toys, gates, laundry baskets, or other items from the space.

2. Hold Off on Laundry

We kindly ask that you avoid running your washer or dryer for at least one hour before your scheduled service. Both machines should be empty and ready in case they need to be moved during the appointment.

3. Secure Pets for Safety

We love animals, but to keep everyone safe, please make sure pets are secured in another room or area during the visit. This helps prevent distractions or safety concerns during the service.

4. Outdoor Access

If your dryer vent exits to the outside, please make sure that area is clear of any obstructions such as patio furniture, grills, garden tools, or awnings so we can safely access the termination point.

5. Condition of the Ductwork

We assume the existing duct system is in good working order. If the ductwork is old or damaged, there’s a chance it may not withstand the cleaning process. We’ll always do our best to be gentle, but we can’t be responsible for pre-existing damage that may come apart during service.

6. Unexpected Repairs

Sometimes a routine cleaning reveals that repairs are needed. Minor fixes may be handled on the spot for an added fee. If larger repairs are required and time doesn’t permit, we’ll schedule a follow-up visit to ensure every customer stays on track.

7. Non-Code Compliant Vents

Please note that cleaning results cannot be guaranteed for vents or duct systems that are not up to current building codes. If we discover such issues, we’ll let you know your options for upgrading.

8. Stacked Washer/Dryer Units

If your laundry machines are stacked and need to be moved, an additional fee will apply. Let us know in advance if this applies to your setup so we can plan accordingly.

9. Payment Policy

Payment is due at the time of service unless you’ve made other arrangements with us in advance. We accept cash and checks as preferred methods.
